The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for supporting WellMed’s South Region including HCAT, USMD and Optum FL with invoice processing. This includes processing and verifying coding of expenses and facilitating invoice approval. The team reviews documents for accuracy and compliance with organization policy and regulatory guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger coding, correct amounts and proper remittance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must be able to handle large volume of invoices while remaining organized and efficient

• Process invoices, entering and verifying GL coding

• Process invoice in Concur following invoice naming convention

• Select appropriate invoice approver from reference guides

• Manage workload by processing first received invoices or priority invoices before processing recently received invoices

• For PO processing resolve all exception queues (price/quantity, incompletes, credits etc)

• Verify vendor’s invoice to ensure invoice remittance address matches vendor remittance address selected in Concur

• Manage workload by processing first received invoices or priority invoices before processing recently received invoices

• Stay within processing service level agreement

• Respond timely and take corrective action when notified by Accounting Review and others additional information is required

• Resolve invoices timely with a Sent Back to Employee Status

• Research and perform analysis for suspected duplicate billings

• Research statements for assigned markets

• Perform research/queries in PeopleSoft as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable

• Experience processing invoices images using A/P ERP Systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Solid working knowledge of accounts payable concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Ariba, Coupa, Premier Connect or Concur invoices

• Sollid analytical and communication skills (oral/written
