Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in San Antonio, Texas

Our client family-owned businesses focused on oil and gas exploration, real estate development, ranching and investments is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate start!

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following job duties for thirteen different companies:

  1. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:

• REVIEW INVOICES, OBTAIN APPROPRIATE APPROVALS AND BACKUP, CONTACT VENDORS REGARDING ACCOUNT’S PAYABLE ISSUES, RECONCILE ACCOUNTS, CODE, PREPARE BATCHES, KEY PAYABLES AND RUN CHECKS FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPANIES:

  1. PRIMARY DATA ENTRY SUPPORT FOR ACCOUNTING:

• ACCOUNTS PAYABLE INVOICES

• JOURNAL ENTRIES

  1. REQUESTING/FILING –W-9’S, CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE

  2. FACILITATE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN RANCH HANDS AND OFFICE PERSONNEL

  3. POINT OF CONTACT AND MANAGE COMPANY VISA CREDIT CARDS FOR EMPLOYEES.

  4. MAINTAIN PROPERTY TAX RECEIPTS FOR ALL COMPANIES, PARTNERS AND INDIVDUALS.

  5. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE – REVIEW INVOICES, CODE, COPY BACKUP, BILL EMPLOYEES, MANAGEMENT AND VENDORS.

  6. BACKUP RECEPTIONIST

  7. MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS AS REQUESTED BY MANAGEMENT

If you are extremely professional, detailed orient and have 5 years full cycle accounts payable experience this position is for you. Apply online for immediate consideration.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Experience in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with check runs and check processing

• Ability to code invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Experience in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Experience in handling multi-site accounting

• Understanding of intercompany accounts

• Ability to create and manage journal entries

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) management
