Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team based in San Antonio, Texas, United States. This role is within the advertisement industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely, and efficient accounting support for our diverse set of clients. You will be using industry-standard software such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Advantage to facilitate your daily duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of multiple client accounts

• Streamline accounting functions and operations for efficient customer service

• Effectively utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and Advantage software for accounting tasks

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies

• Facilitate audit by providing records and documentation to auditors

• Comply with relevant financial standards and regulations

• Collaborate with other team members to meet and exceed client expectations

• Assist in Accounts Payable functions and step in when needed for other areas

• Use skills in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Check Processing, Intercompany Accounting, Intercompany Accounts, Intercompany Transaction, Reconciliations, Credit Card Reconciliation, Expense Reporting, and Journal Entries. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Proven competence in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Ability to perform Check Processing

• Understanding of Intercompany Accounting

• Experience in managing Intercompany Accounts

• Familiarity with Intercompany Transactions

• Proficient in Reconciliations

• Ability to perform Credit Card Reconciliation

• Experience in Expense Reporting

• Knowledge of Journal Entries
