Description We are seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the medical services industry. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing financial operations, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and set up vendors and customers in the accounting system.

• Handle ACH payments and process expense reports.

• Perform reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.

• Manage financial data in QuickBooks Intuit and Excel pivot tables.

• Provide accurate coding for month-end close, maintaining General Ledger (GL) transactions.

• Collaborate with the finance team to optimize accounting procedures.

• Ensure compliance with state law and company policies.

• Assist in various accounting projects as needed.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Able to manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Experience in Billing and Data Entry is essential

• Capable of performing Invoice Processing tasks

• Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software is desirable

• Must possess strong communication skills

• A keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
