Snow Manufacturing Plumber in SALT LAKE, Utah
We are seeking a skilled and dependable plumber to join our team. The plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, and delivering high-quality service to customers. Key Responsibilities:
Install, Maintain, and Repair Plumbing Systems:
Install and repair pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, dishwashers).
Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues.
Ensure plumbing systems comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Identify and resolve plumbing problems quickly and effectively.
Use tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, soldering equipment, and power tools, to perform repairs.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper water flow.
Customer Service and Communication:
Interact with customers to understand their needs and explain solutions.
Provide cost estimates and recommendations for repairs or replacements.
Maintain professionalism and build strong relationships with clients.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated or damaged systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
Report job status to supervisors and complete required paperwork.
Requirements:
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or GED (required).
Valid plumbing license (e.g., Journeyman or Master Plumber).
Certifications in specialized areas (e.g., backflow prevention, gas lines) are a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience as a plumber (apprenticeship, journeyman, or master level).
Experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, or in varying weather conditions.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts for emergencies.
