Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated communications student with writing experience to work alongside the Price College of Engineering’s development staff. This internship would entail at least 15 hours per week of remote work during standard business hours (M-F, 8am-5:30pm). The position will continue through the end of the fall semester and may be extended through the end of the Spring semester by mutual interest. Pay is $15 per hour.
Responsibilities
Craft personalized thank-you letters to donors, expressing appreciation for their contributions.
Assist in writing and editing gift proposals and other fundraising appeals.
Research potential topics for donor-related stories.
Ensure all writing tasks are completed within deadlines.
Perform additional tasks related to donor communication and fundraising as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
Currently enrolled University of Utah (undergraduate or graduate) student. Strong writing and verbal communication skills; familiarity with Microsoft Word or compatible software; ability to work both individually and in a team setting. Demonstrated skills in copyediting.
