The truck loader loads and unloads materials from trucks and moves materials within the plant and yard. Physical Requirements

Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
Check inventory
Fill work order
Generate shipping tags in computer
Prepare shipping documents such as bill of lading
Prepare packaging based on customer specifications
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
operate powered industrial trucks of varying types (forklift, loaders, etc)
high school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
ability to write simple correspondence
ability to effectively present info in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
