Description We are seeking a Tax Manager - Public to join our team in the construction/contractor industry located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and utilizing a variety of accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize accounting software systems such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for data management and analysis

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, minimizing the company's tax liabilities

• Prepare annual income tax provisions, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner

• Conduct auditing processes to identify any areas of improvement or discrepancies

• Manage the use of ADP - Financial Services for payroll processes and other financial services

• Monitor and handle entity formation processes, ensuring they adhere to legal and company standards

• Utilize CCH Sales Tax software for managing and analyzing sales tax processes

• Address and resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounting processes and tax provisions

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in tax laws to ensure the company's processes remain compliant. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Knowledge of CaseWare software is desirable

• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is advantageous

• A solid understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory

• Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision is crucial

• Auditing skills are essential

• Must have a strong sense of Compliance

• Experience with Entity Formation is beneficial
