L3Harris is seeking a simulation and analysis engineer with experience in Electronic Warfare (EW), including Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA). This role includes component to sub-system modeling and simulation, sub-system performance analysis, working with developers to ensure performance requirements are met, generating design artifacts, and leading small teams of analysts.

Areas of expected technical experience include:

  • Electronic Attack technique modeling and detailed simulation

  • Electronic Support signal detection and identification

  • Arbitrary waveform generation

  • Multipath and channel modeling

  • Digital signal processing

  • Strong RF understanding

  • Receiver sensitivity analysis

  • EW test environment simulation

  • Experience in EW modeling and simulation

  • Proficiency in MATLAB

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

    Areas of desired experience or education include:

  • Advanced signal processing techniques

  • Non-linear signal processing for spectrum operations

  • Communications systems architecture (focusing on the physical layer)

  • Electronic Warfare (EW) systems analysis

  • Electronic Support (ES) architecture

  • Electronic Attack Systems

  • Machine Learning

  • Algorithm development, simulation, and documentation

  • Requirements analysis and management

  • Proposal support

  • Experience working with FPGA design

  • Software Defined Radios

  • Familiarity with C/C++/C#

  • Active security clearance
