We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Salt Lake City. The Accountant will be handling critical aspects of our company's financial functions, including managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), processing payments, assisting with payroll processing, and conducting bank reconciliations. The individual in this position will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our company and will be a trusted advisor to our management team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all AP and AR accounts, including invoice generation, processing payments, and pursuing due invoices

• Assisting with payroll processing, ensuring that all employee records are up-to-date and that all payments are made on time

• Perform regular bank reconciliations, verifying our financial transactions and ensuring they are accurately recorded in our ledgers

• Preparing financial reports, highlighting any irregularities or areas for concern

• Acting as a trusted advisor to the management team, providing insightful information and expectations to facilitate decision-making processes

• Adhering to all company procedures and accounting principles

• Implementing and upholding tight internal financial controls

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 1-4 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standard practices along with their application

• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software

• Outgoing and friendly personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks at once, and meeting deadlines.
