The Health Sciences Center seeks faculty and staff who are committed to the values of compassion, collaboration, innovation, responsibility, diversity, integrity, quality, and trust that are integral to our mission.The Division of Vascular Surgery is looking for an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) who is a patient-focused, self-motivated provider and can work effectively in a team environment. Our APCs are valued members of our team and work collaboratively with the physicians as well as independently. We expect excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. In addition to working at University of Utahs outpatient Vein Center candidate will be expected to attend pertinent continuing education.The Vascular Surgery group includes 8 faculty surgeons, 2 fellows that will participate at our outpatient vein center. There is an expectation for the APC to become increasingly comfortable with minor procedures and assisting surgeons during office-based procedures as well as screening and following up patients with venous pathologies. When deemed prepared, candidate will be able to have its own venous clinic.In addition to the care of our patients, occasionally shared responsibility for teaching residents, medical students, and APC students will be expected as is participation in team meetings, education conferences, and special projects as required.As a patient-focused organization, the University of Utah Health Sciences exists to enhance the health and well-being of people through patient care, research, and education.
