Oracle HDI is transforming healthcare through data and AI, driving innovation in patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency. The Science & Informatics team tackles complex challenges using cutting-edge AI, Generative AI, NLP, and large language models (LLMs).

We seek a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead execution in the Data Science space, bringing clarity, structure, and results to a fast-paced, evolving environment. This highly visible role spans Oracle Health’s products, working cross-functionally with executives, architects, engineers, product managers, and external partners to turn ideas into impactful AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

Drive the end-to-end execution of large-scale Data Science and AI programs, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.

Collaborate across teams—data scientists, engineers, product managers, clinicians, and regulatory experts—to align priorities and resolve dependencies.

Define roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics, bringing clarity and focus to complex initiatives.

Lead through ambiguity, identifying gaps and guiding teams toward structured solutions.

Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of AI/ML solutions in healthcare.

Address key challenges, including data privacy (HIPAA, GDPR), model bias, explainability, and ethical AI practices.

Stay ahead of AI/ML trends, regulations, and best practices, providing strategic insights.

Bridge technical and non-technical teams, translating AI advancements into actionable business outcomes.

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers while implementing best practices for governance and compliance.

What You Bring

10+ years in Technical Program Management, leading complex, multi-team initiatives.

Proven success in large-scale technical programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies.

Strong background in Data Science, AI, and ML technologies, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.

Ability to define key success metrics, drive accountability, and achieve measurable results.

Experience working in matrixed environments, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, clinicians, and product managers.

Expertise in Agile, SAFe, or similar frameworks for iterative development.

Exceptional communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and influence senior leadership.

Deep understanding of program risk management, mitigation strategies, and problem-solving in technical and organizational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with healthcare data and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR), as well as interoperability challenges.

Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, and MLOps best practices.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
