University of Utah Post Doc Res Assoc in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Rower Laboratory within the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy is a clinical pharmacology laboratory focused on developing personalized medicine strategies, particularly in the setting of pediatric pharmacotherapy. Situated within the Center for Human Toxicology, we utilize a combination of bioanalysis and pharmacometrics techniques to define dose-exposure-response relationships for drugs used in the pediatric population. Current areas of interest include the use of tacrolimus for pediatric (heart) transplant, (val)ganciclovir in the treatment of congenital cytomegalovirus, and the neurodevelopmental impact of adolescent cannabis use, though the Centers role as a service recharge center for the University of Utah and a bioanalytical testing site for contracts with NIDA and NINDS provides data and collaborators from a wide array of research interests.
