Job Summary
The post-doctoral fellow will conduct cutting edge research in microbiology/molecular biology/genetics works closely with chemical biologists. Research project may involve culturing bacterial/yeast/mammalian cells, application of modern genetic tools, in vivo and in vitro models and expression and purification of proteins, nucleic acids and biophysical/biochemical/structural analysis as well as protein-ligand interactions. In addition to the above research activities, following are required: Documenting protocols, keeping lab notebook records upto date, summarizing results in written format weekly and monthly presentation in support of the research activities.
Responsibilities
Subject knowledge and oral/written communication skills to discuss and document research progress. Ability to work independently, accurately and to problem solves technical and methodological issues that arise during the course of the research. Ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology and logical critical analysis. Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications

Recent PhD in Molecular Biology/Genetics/Physiology/Biochemistry
Minimum of 3 first author publications
