University of Utah Pediatric Physical Therapist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
THE DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL THERAPY AND ATHLETIC TRAINING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH is seeking an outstanding candidate for a 0.75 FTE pediatric physical therapy resident position to provide contract pediatric physical therapy services and assist with teaching. This job will have two primary roles: (1) Provide contract pediatric physical therapy services and (2) Student Instruction. For provision of contract pediatric physical therapy services: Fulfill professional services agreement obligations with University of Utah Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency (UUPPTR) partners to provide services in early intervention, inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. For student instruction: assist with entry-level pediatric PT education including labs, active learning, exams, and other needs as they arise. Previous experience in pediatric physical therapy is required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required. Expectations for this position also include participation in the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (URLEND) program, American Physical Therapy Association Pediatrics consortium and UUPPTR didactics, scholarship, and service.
