Operates a commercially outfitted motor coach that provides mammography, skin cancer screening, and outreach to vulnerable populations throughout Utah. May assist with patient registration, event set up, and vehicle maintenance. Furthers the reach and mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute.
This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities
Operates and drives a 47-foot motor coach to various designated sites.
Sets-up, operates, loads and unloads equipment (leveling jacks, generators, HVAC units, shore power, data cables, water tanks) and prepares coach for use at designated sites.
Inspects equipment daily for damage, equipment failures, and safety items to ensure the safe use of the equipment while performing assigned duties.
Fills out, in writing, the daily vehicle inspection report and driver log.
Performs vehicle fueling services, disposes of gray water, and obtains exterior washing services.
Assists manager in identification of vehicle issues and needs and in obtaining those services.
Empties trash and soiled linen containers at end of day, as necessary.
Performs inventory of mobile screening unit supplies (wipes, gloves, linens, paper, etc.) and obtains needed replacements prior to daily screening activities.
Greets and provides direction to mostly female and vulnerable populations with high level of courtesy, professionalism, respect, and sensitivity.
Provides intake to mobile screening program clients as necessary.
Operates lap top computer and/or tablet devices to aid in patient intake and education, as necessary.
Attends scheduled internal and external meetings.
Performs other duties, as assigned, when mobile unit is not being utilized.

Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
Ability to perform the essential functions listed above.
Ability to safely operate and drive a 47-foot motor coach to various designated sites in a variety of weather and road conditions.
Ability to set-up, operate, load and unload equipment (leveling jacks, generators, HVAC units, shore power, data cables, water tanks) and prepare coach for use at designated sites (training provided).
Ability to follow start up and shut down procedures.
Ability to work in a confined space with other team members.
Ability to work with a variety of cultures and populations.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required
High School diploma, or equivalency.
Three (3) years of experience driving a commercial vehicle (motor coach, bus, ambulance, fire truck, or other large vehicle).
Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
Proof of insurability.
No moving violations in the past five (5) years and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs within the past ten (10) years.
Licenses Required
- A valid and current Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL), class A or B.

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.
- This position involves very physical work that may exert up to 100 pounds and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. The position may involve moving heavy equipment and/or supplies. This position involves a variety of physical conditions, such as being exposed to extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, loud noises and other unusual elements.
