The Medical Laboratory Science Division, Department of Pathology, University of Utah School of Medicine, invites applications for a full-time faculty position. This new faculty position will support the teaching and administrative needs of the expanding educational programs in medical laboratory science at the University of Utah.Primary responsibilities will include teaching of graduate-level courses in Laboratory Medicine and Medical Laboratory Science. Significant administrative responsibilities as Associate Division Chief for the Medical Laboratory Sciences Division will also be assigned and which will be commensurate with prior experience. Academic rank will also be commensurate with experience.Applicants must be ASCP certified as a Technologist, possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, or directly related field (PhD preferred), have a minimum of 3 years laboratory bench-level experience, demonstrate administrative or project management experience and have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
