Job Summary
Designs, coordinates, and executes a wide range of marketing/communications. Performs a variety of writing, design, and project management tasks while using good judgment and strong interpersonal skills to plan and execute marketing/communications strategies. Utilizes traditional and electronic publishing technologies to produce communications that implement project objectives.
Responsibilities
Content Management and Planning: Manages a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging across channels. Develops and executes comprehensive marketing and communication plans using both traditional and digital platforms. Ensures all distributed material is accurate, timely, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Writing, Editing, and Content Development: Crafts short-form articles, scripts for promotional content, press releases, and other written communications. Coordinates content development efforts across various media, ensuring all materials align with project goals. Proofreads all communications and oversees the research and development of content for publication to ensure relevance and quality.
Website Management: Oversees website content management to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and engaging information on all web pages. Ensures that website updates align with brand standards and project objectives, and collaborates with technical teams as needed to improve site functionality and user experience.
Campaign Execution and Monitoring: Plans and runs targeted marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and drive engagement, maintaining cohesive messaging across all materials. Monitors the effectiveness of marketing tactics, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize performance.
Stakeholder Communication: Develops and communicates information about department projects to stakeholders, both internal and external. Collaborates with departments and clients to conceptualize projects and ensure strategic alignment.
Email Marketing: Designs, schedules, and executes email marketing campaigns to support outreach and engagement goals, utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Project and Timeline Management: Develops and adheres to project timelines, ensuring all marketing and communication efforts are completed on schedule.
Brand Awareness and Promotions: Coordinates promotional initiatives, including selecting and ordering promotional items, and oversees the design, printing, and delivery of marketing materials. Supports special events to enhance brand visibility.
Administrative and Technical Tasks: Manages administrative tasks, including coordinating Accounts Payable and Receivable. May perform other related technical duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) plus 3 years of related experience; excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills; familiarity with a variety of computer software; project management and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work both individually and in a team setting.
Some areas may require additional experience with specific computer systems and may require skills in interviewing, ad copy writing, editing, photography, web writing, graphic design, audio & video production, and oral presentation.
Master’s degree in a related field may be preferred.

Platform Proficiency: Utilizes platforms such as Asana for project management, Salesforce for CRM , Salesforce Marketing Cloud for email campaigns, Joomla for web content management, and Later for social media scheduling and analytics. Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva & Teams.
