Ultradent Products Inc Maintenance Mechanic in Salt Lake City, Utah
Ultradent the global name in oral health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work the Day Shift in our Equipment Maintenance Department : Monday through Thursday starting at 05:00 AM (10-hours shift)
Job Duties:
Work as a team member in production by ensuring equipment maintains quality standards and expected throughput
Must be able to work in cross-functional teams on assigned projects
Perform established and required preventive maintenance to all equipment and keep necessary records
Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions
Troubleshoots and problem solves equipment problems
Observes flow of materials to ensure proper functioning of equipment and processes
Ensures compliance with safety standards
Setup and adjust equipment to produce quality products according to specified standards
Complete and maintain proper equipment documentation and complete reports as required
Provide break relief as directed by supervisor
Properly document quality documentation as required by process
Other duties as assigned by management
Skills Required:
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be able to determine solutions with critical thinking
Electrical and mechanical experience
Attention to detail is imperative
Basic math skills are essential
Experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies a plus (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, TOC, SMED, etc.)
Experience with manufacturing equipment preferred
Experience/Schooling/Degree Required:
Candidates should MUST have prior machine mechanic experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Any technical certifications a plus
