Job Skills: * Multitasking * Attention to detail * Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy * Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills * Comfortable in a client facing environment * Dedicated to meeting client expectations * Microsoft Office - specifically in Outlook and Excel * Self Driven and highly motivated Job Requirements: * Account for incoming registered and certified mail * Sort mail by department, location or category * Stamp and record date of receipt and sender's name utilizing computer applications and software * Keep records of incoming and outgoing packages * Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed, applying appropriate metering, verifying addresses and ensuring the packages are delivered with accuracy * Correct and re-forward misdirected mail * Arrange for express delivery when needed by the client * Distribute mail to individuals or departments * Track mailroom supplies * Work with other mailroom workers to receive, sort and distribute mail throughout the organization * This position is essential in maintaining the mailroom's daily activities without interruption * Processing accountable mail couriers * Assist and notify end users of mail and shipping protocols when necessary * Log all incoming accountable mail in tracking software * Preparing large batches of mail for distribution * Ability to be flexible and able to work overtime as the business requires * Must assist in supporting all service lines in addition to primary role * Able to lift 40lbs * All duties as assigned
