Job Summary

Work-Study Position… Targeted Recruitment is for ALL INDIVIDUALS not just Female

- We are accepting applications from all individuals.

Monitor Film and Media Arts equipment room. Assists with equipment check in and out process. Address issues/questions students have about equipment. Great organizational skills and self starter is a plus as well.

Responsibilities

WORK - STUDY POSITION

  1. Maintains the physical environment of the lab (cleanliness (includes sanitization of equipment) and organization).

  2. Prepares facility for daily use.

  3. Check Film Equipment in and out to students.

  4. Inspect equipment upon return to insure all parts and accessories are included and equipment is in working order.

  5. Maintain Equipment and report to supervisor when equipment is broken or missing.

  6. Do inventory of equipment.

  7. Keep lab(s) clean, organized, and secure.

Minimum Qualifications

This is an entry level position and on the job training is provided. The ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions; the ability to keep accurate records; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.

A general knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment and terminology; the ability to operate and care for laboratory equipment; and a knowledge of appropriate specimen handling techniques preferred.
