    Summary: Designs and implements the credit union's employee education and training programs. Ensures that the training programs reflect the credit union strategic priorities and employee development.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designing and creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content.

  • Working with subject matter experts and managing the review and evaluation of training programs.

  • Create supporting materials/media/resources for training initiatives.

  • Manage learning management system. Maintaining online resources, curriculum and landing pages.

  • Manage knowledge management system. Maintaining documented processes and procedures within our knowledge management system.

  • Technical Instruction: Capable instructor in critical job functions and able to facilitate different delivery methods to support a blended learning approach.

  • Serve as back-up to Corporate Trainers when needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Experience: Two to Five years' instructional design is highly preferred.

  • Education: A high school degree is required. A Bachelor's degree in relevant field is highly preferred.

    Competencies:

  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.

  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.

  • Solid knowledge of course development software and Learning Management System.

  • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio/video scripts.

  • Communicate complex information in a way that others will understand and retain.

  • Professionalism in appearance, dress, and attitude is a must.

  • Good organizer, meticulous, and good at working with people individually or in a group setting.

  • Ability to coach and mentor others to facilitate understanding.

    Computer/Software Skills:

  • Microsoft Suite

  • Articulate Storyline

  • Any programming, or graphic design background would be preferred

    Work Conditions:

  • Possible hybrid office environment, moderate walking, some travel as needed
