Primary Job Duties
This is a full-time position.
As a GSE Parts Technician, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.
Data entry into fleet maintenance program “Fleet Focus”
Parts purchasing for GSE shops
Compile and analyze departmental parts usage data
Work with vendors on parts pricing
Ship, receive and transfer parts in Fleet Focus and parts room
Pick up, package and deliver parts when needed
Inventory parts in GSE Shops
Maintain cleanliness and order of parts room
Keep travel trailer stocked with parts needed for annual station visits
Run weekly/monthly/annual parts reports
Approve and investigate invoices in accounting system
Order and stock GSE shop with misc. office and shop supplies
Other responsibilities assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
Be 18 years or older
Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Automotive and parts experience
Excellent organization skills
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Positive attitude, self-motivated, quick learner, and team player
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts and extended shifts
Travel as needed
Current SkyWest employee must be in good standing with the Company
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
Ground service equipment knowledge
This is a full-time position, starting at $18.50 to 23.50 an hour, depending on experience
