Job Duties: Associate, Trade Processing with Folio Financial, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Partner with the business and federation to facilitate business growth with a key focus on the risk and control around investment products. Ensure exposure risks are appropriately mitigated while partnering with a team of brokerage, execution, and servicing experts to deliver top notch client service. Support process flows for investment products: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, retirement products, etc. Design procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements, review legal structures of various entities, collect, and prepare due diligence documents, and complete other administrative tasks to ensure client expectations are met. Work closely with Engineering teams to design new system enhancements to build scalability, and work with Compliance to define and implement firm policies and controls. Participate in regular meetings to maintain clarity, efficiency and consistency surrounding workflow. Escalate potential relationship issues and devise possible resolutions in a timely and effective manner, which entails project management ranging from small enhancements to large-scale, global initiatives and delivering against commitments. Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Analysis, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Financial Analysis, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year (with Master's) or three (3) years (with Bachelor's) in the following: working with the operational flow of a wide variety of investment products from pre-trade to post settlement along with trade booking reviews; manipulating system parameters with BDM (Business Decision Modeling); utilizing operations tools and technologies specifically developed for financial services firm operations; working with financial regulation and compliance, including working with clients to solve assets or portfolio transfers related situations without a clearly defined process or procedure; identifying process flaws and proposing solutions to maximize efficiency; analyzing large data sets of 10,000+ lines and synthesizing into key themes; and analyzing data and configuring operational metrics through self-service tooling, such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Data Warehousing, Defensive Design Methods and Robotic process automation.
