Ultradent Products Inc Formulator I in Salt Lake City, Utah
Ultradent, the global name in oral health is seeking a Formulator I to join our Formulations Department and work on Swing Shift (3:30 - 11:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Friday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm). Hires will be responsible for the formulation of bulk liquid and semi-solid dental and oral health care
Job Duties:
Movement of raw materials from warehouses to manufacturing areas.
Precise measurement of chemical ingredients.
Operation and cleaning of mixing, blending, and milling equipment.
Accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, both hand-written and electronic.
Understand and perform work in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Skills Required:
Ability to follow instructions
Attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to work and cooperate with team members
Working knowledge of aseptic techniques
Prioritization and multitasking abilities
Good organizational skills
Quality awareness
Excellent safety record
Good attendance
Routinely lift 40+ lbs
Experience/Schooling or Degree Required:
Background in food, supplement, cosmetic, medical device, or pharmaceutical chemical formulation.
Familiar with measurement scales, mixing, blending, chemical mills and other formulation manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of FDA/cGMP regulations and chemistry or biology background is preferred.
