Financial Analyst - Entry Level
SLC, UT (In-Office) – Relocation required without relocation assistance

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join the Client Onboarding team within a prestigious financial institution. As a Financial Analyst you’ll work closely a range of other internal teams and will be responsible for reviewing AML/KYC documentation and managing the approval process for new accounts.
This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where your ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels—including sales, legal, and compliance—will be key. It's a great opportunity to kick start your career as a Financial Analyst.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensure compliance with "Know Your Customer" regulations through thorough due diligence.
Develop expertise in the firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification due diligence policies.
Draft procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements.
Devise and implement process improvement strategies for greater efficiency.
Coordinate with internal and external clients to gather necessary onboarding documentation.
Approve the opening of new accounts after thorough review.
What You Bring to The Role:
Bachelor's Degree
Spanish/Portuguese language strongly preferred
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on control.
Skilled at building relationships and communicating complex issues to diverse internal clients, regardless of their product experience level.
Self-motivated and proactive team player with strong organizational skills, taking ownership of projects and effectively managing competing priorities.
Adaptable and thrives under pressure in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with business operations and process improvement.
Strong client relations skills, including managing expectations and delivering insights.
