UtahPresents values individuals who can actively contribute to the diversity of viewpoints, experiences, and expertise of our staff.Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Manager helps ensure UtahPresents successful operations, fiscal health, and continued growth. They are responsible for both supporting day-to-day business functions and advising on long-term strategic direction. A pivotal member of UtahPresents team, the Finance Manager balances a portfolio of accounting, financial, and other administrative duties. It is estimated that 70% of the Finance Managers time will be spent on accounting and 30% on other financial and administrative duties.The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the UtahPresents annual budget, which is currently around $2.5M and comprised of both restricted and unrestricted program and operational revenues and expenses. Additionally, the Finance Manager assists with significant rental event business volume year-round, settling ticket revenues against venue costs. This position serves as a liaison between UtahPresents and the University regarding financial matters, and they work closely with the UtahPresents Advisory Boards Finance Committee. Other responsibilities include significant bookkeeping and accounts management, preparing financial reports and providing analysis, completing an annual audit, and payroll oversight.Directly supporting on-site operations, the Finance Manager will primarily work from UtahPresents offices at Kingsbury Hall. Flexibility exists to work remotely at times, as agreed to by the Executive Director.The salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 and commensurate with experience.
