State of Utah - Jobs Facilities Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
Do you have experience in facility maintenance and operations,building efficiency,project management,preventative maintenance and supervising large work crews? This is your chance to demonstrate your skills as a Facilities Manager!
*This position is open exclusively to current state employees of the Utah National Guard. *
Principal Duties As a Facilities Manager,you will:
- Manage the maintenance staff within the Utah National Guard regions,including hiring,assigning workload,performance review,discipline and termination.
- Manage day-to-day building maintenance and operations.
- Manage building efficiency and utility consumption program.
- Act as a project manager on capital improvement projects.
- Work with Project Managers on capitol development projects,if needed.
- Manage janitorial and elevator contracts.
- Participate in building safety and emergency preparation and response.
- Manage building maintenance budgets.
The Best Qualified Candidate The best qualified candidate for this position will have experience in:
- Personnel management.
- Building maintenance and operations; including mechanical,electrical,HVAC,and other systems.
- Contract management.
- Budget management.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Building efficiency and utility consumption.
- Working within a military organization,understanding its structure and mission.
