Entry-Level Payroll Manager (Contract)
Pay: $25hr.-$35hr.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, while maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
Payroll Processing: Assemble and process payroll input from management and HR for internal and external payroll systems.
Payroll Accuracy: Perform test runs, reconciliations, and thorough checks to ensure correct salary payments before finalizing payroll.
Report Management: Review, comment on, and approve payroll reports to confirm salary accuracy.
Bookkeeping Integration: Generate and process monthly payroll reports for upload to bookkeeping systems.
Cost Reporting: Provide monthly cost information to relevant stakeholders and respond to ad hoc requests.
Tax Compliance: Understand and apply U.S. tax regulations, including setting up new accounts in ADP.
Pension Management: Open and close pension schemes as required.
Fraud Awareness: Maintain responsibility for fraud prevention and awareness within payroll processes.
Data Validation: Cross-check payroll input against systems and documentation to ensure accuracy.
Safety Advocacy: Promote a culture of safety within the team and across company operations.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years of previous experience in payroll processing or a related administrative role is a plus
ADP and or Vantage software experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
Basic understanding of U.S. tax regulations and payroll systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and understand priorities
Strong communication skills to interact with HR, management, and other stakeholders.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
