Job Title: Engine Crew Supervisor

Job Description:
The Utah Department of Natural Resources is seeking a qualified candidate[s] for a benefited career or career-seasonal position as an Engine Crew Supervisor. This role involves managing Type 3 and Type 4 engines for both local and national wildfire response. Key responsibilities include recruiting and training crew members,maintaining and operating engines,managing equipment inventory,supervising fuel mitigation projects,and overseeing administrative duties such as timesheets,procurement,and personnel evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive Wildfire Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in wildfire suppression strategies and tactics,with substantial experience in fireline leadership.
- Qualifications: Certified as an Engine Boss (ENGB),Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5),and Faller 3 (FAL3).
