Job Brief As a Category / Project Manager, you will lead the continuous development, implementation, and alignment of category strategies and supplier network capabilities both globally and regionally for key commodities and spend categories.

What You'll Do As a Category / Project Manager, you will lead the continuous development, implementation, and alignment of category strategies andsupplier network capabilities both globally and regionally for key commodities and spend categories. Other duties include: * Be responsible for the identification and delivery of cost savings and the integration of process improvement initiatives into business operations * Support the Explosives and Initiation Systems Business Unit through strategic purchasing initiatives, deliberate negotiations, and consistent internal communications. Conflict Management and Resolution Interpret and monitor current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/ capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges. Guide an agile response to these challenges to ensure business continuity. Guide the selection, development, and management of strategic suppliers to deliver lowest-cost outcomes while maintaining service and quality Implement and deliver against Leader Standard Work framework for Procurement. Take a leading role in delivering Procurement excellence. Highly fragmented spend across multi categories and locations. Significant variance in business unit requirements and objectives. Manage effective relationships with key stakeholders across different business units and geographies.

What We're Looking For: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering, ideally with a manufacturing or chemicals focus. MBA beneficial.

• 5+ years' experience in Contract and Supplier Management, Project management and/or Strategic Sourcing in a large complex organization, ideally with a chemicals or manufacturing focus.
• Experience in leading cross functional teams, often spanning several geographical locations.
• Ability to manage and enhance supplier relationships, performance and development programs.
• Clear understanding of relevant supply markets.
• Management of tendering and contracting process.
• Understanding of contract law to ensure consistent compliance.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
