Your responsibilities
• Scope of Responsibility: Managing and overseeing direct (materials and packaging) and indirect (capital expenditures) spend of Reckitt Utah manufacturing plant.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global procurement, internal stakeholders, including production teams, engineers, and department heads, to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure legal and compliance requirements are met. Collaborate with the legal team for contract support as needed.
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with material suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, delivery and cost expectations.
• Risk Management: Proactively identifying and manage potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier vulnerabilities, market fluctuations and other factors that can impact supply security.
• Supplier Service Optimization: Effective communicate with internal stakeholders and supplier in case of a supplier service issue and develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement in procurement activities.
• Project Management: Support and drive the execution of projects and strategies developed by regional/global procurement related to the factory.
• Ownership and Accountability: Take ownership of procurement activities at the factory and serve as the face of procurement, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• PPV: Understand and analyze in detail the PPV of the site and be able to explain and present the factory PPV results.
The experience we're looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven relevant experience in procurement, specifically in direct materials and capital expenditures.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-effective deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of procurement.
• Self-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

US salary ranges
USD$64,000.00 - $96,000.00
US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
