Job Summary

The Associate Vice President, Enterprise Integration, under the guidance of the VP, Enterprise Integration will provide implementation and integration leadership in support of select growth initiatives. Makes actionable recommendations on integration strategy, blueprinting of future state process and systems for integrated businesses, and execution and change leadership across the enterprise. Works collaboratively with senior management team and business unit leaders to lead integration of a single merger and acquisition or implementations to further Molina’s growth, business success, and fiscal performance in the ever-changing healthcare environment.

JOB DUTIES (Main duties & responsibilities of the role):

  • Prioritize and execute on integration and implementation initiatives that drive growth and optimization through M&A and organic growth.

  • Oversee and undertake business analysis, business requirement gathering, project management, project governance, and execution.

  • Provide enterprise-wide execution leadership by partnering with health plan, corporate operations and technology leaders to define target processes and systems for the new business to be integrated, consistent with broader enterprise initiatives and with a focus on ensuring value realization from the growth initiative.

  • Work directly with the program directors, health plan leaders, enterprise functional leaders and project management support teams to deliver successful outcomes that achieve enterprise wide growth and drive gains in efficiency and efficacy in health plan operations, health plan services, and corporate functions.

  • Responsible for oversight and winddown of formal implementation work, and following launch, for post-live KPI/metrics monitoring to ensure a launched market is transitioning smoothly to normal operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or other business discipline

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within a complex enterprise, preferably within the healthcare sector or a highly regulated industry coupled with experience in working as part of a large operating division within a larger enterprise and/or working in large scale business implementation & integration capacity in a large public or private company.

  • Business Acumen: outstanding technical skills and a broad base of prior experience coupled with a strategic approach and understanding of the interplay and tension between growth, margin, quality and risk management needed to achieve an organization’s business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced and competitive environment.

  • Broad understanding of managed care operations is also key to success in the role.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong working knowledge and experience in managed care, financial services, health, or other insurance and/or any relevant, complex, regulated industry.

  • Leadership Skills: A highly engaged and hands-on execution; strong ability to lead, influence and gain buy-in from executive level leaders and the capability to represent the company both externally and internally to a variety of constituents.

  • Communication Skills: A demonstrated ability to gain support, alignment, and a sense of ownership from different internal and external stakeholders to support business decision making.

  • Trustworthiness: The successful candidate must possess the ability to handle high-level confidential information, discreetly conduct high level strategic projects and efficiently complete business transactions.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Master's Degree

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of healthcare strongly preferred (payor or provider side).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Working environment is generally favorable and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Must have the ability to sit for long periods. Pay Range: $140,795 - $274,550.26 / ANNUAL
