University of Utah Accountant (General) III (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks for a full-time Accountant (General) III. The Accountant (General) III in the College of Nursing is responsible for Research Administration Support (including budget review, contract negotiation, and grants management with grants submissions, new award setup, reviews notice of awards and executed agreements, sub-award issuance, award modification request, no-cost extension request, close-out report request, act as the liaison to central University grants administration offices, and purchase of project supplies and services); Reconciliation (including grants cost transfers, reimbursements, E-journals, budgeting, employee compensation, monitor projects and activities for spending compliance with federal, state, and University regulations, forecasting revenue and expenditure, providing monthly financial reports and invoice clinical contracts); Management and Analysis (including meeting with project Principal Investigator regularly, project expenditures and encumbrances, and evidence review reporting, payroll and employee efforts reporting; and maintain current knowledge of changing institutional policies); and Departmental Reporting (updating Redcap database regularly). Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and 24 months experience in the field of accounting, including GAAP; evaluating and reviewing financial reports; financial and audit risks and controls; and accounting management and analysis. Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, off Saturday and Sunday.
