Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

This position is responsible for materials preparation and moving the raw material. The associate prepares the components for machinery by measuring small amounts of metals into small boxes and weighing them. They will have to load the material into the barrels and then ensure the product comes off the line. They will work closely with the operators until they are fully trained and then promoted to operators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components for machinery by measuring and weighing small amounts of metals.

• Load materials into barrels.

• Ensure the product comes off the production line efficiently.

• Work closely with operators during the training period.

Essential Skills

• Production experience

• Machine operation skills

• Inspection skills

• Proficiency with hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and follow operation and production instructions

• Knowledge of safe and proficient shop floor practices

• Strong team player

Work Environment

Work in a dirty environment that is not heated or cooled. The plant has a small team of 18 employees, and you will primarily interact with a lead.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90
