Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking to hire a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with experience in plastic injection molding. The position is on the 1st shift, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday through Saturday. Technicians will rotate weekends.

Hard Skills

• Maintaining, setting up, and operating production equipment

• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment failures

• Fabrication using MIG welder, TIG welder, vertical/horizontal band saws, bridge port mill, and lathe

• Updating and completing preventative and non-preventative work orders

• Fabrication of parts/equipment

• Responding to service calls to inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machine problems

• Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - knowledge of Allen Bradley preferred

• Maintaining parts inventory and daily recordkeeping within CMMS

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saline, Michigan.

Work Environment

Automotive plant, noisy, dusty sometimes but pretty clean and organized.
