WOLVERINE FUELS Safety Trainer - Sufco in SALINA, Utah
JOB LOCATION: Sufco Mine
PURPOSE: A dynamic Trainer who will have a positive impact on the overall operation, assist with the Behavior Based Safety process, and travel and train new hires
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Travel with New hires
Understanding of all works in the mine and surface
Develop safety related training and help facilitate safety training sessions including New Hire, Hazard, and Annual Refresher Training.
Provide support to all teams and proactively work for continuous improvement of existing projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Understands being patient with individuals.
Respectful in all aspects of work.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels of management.
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to effectively multi-task.
· Proficient computer skills (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point etc.)
· Proven teambuilding and leadership skills and the ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team.
· Demonstrated safe work record required.
· Ability to drive results and ensure completion of time sensitive deadlines required
· Previous MSHA/ Instructor training experience (blue card) or ability to obtain preferred.
· Knowledge of MSHA standard/ regulations preferred
