Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join one of our large energy companies. This individual will be a part of the Hydro West Fleet team, overseeing 11 power plants across North and South Carolina. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the power plant sector, particularly hydroelectric plants, or similar industrial/energy-related experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects across 11 hydroelectric plants in North and South Carolina.
Travel to remote plant locations as required.
Lead and guide projects independently, demonstrating a self-starter attitude.
Oversee construction projects and ensure they meet engineering standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Will need to be comfortable traveling to multiple sites within a 2-hour radius of Salem, SC

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience.
Extensive experience in power plant operations, specifically hydroelectric.
Strong construction background. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Electrical Engineering background null
