Carrington Remote Data Security Analyst in Salem, Oregon

What you’ll do:

The Data Security Analyst will be responsible to Provide information security analysis and complete tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of information assets. Perform all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.

The target pay range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000

  • Partner with Vendor Management to analyze and perform third-party vendor information security assessments and provide security/compliance related feedback for business decisions.

  • Responsible for conducting weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory security requirements and system access.

  • Conduct on-going security monitoring, auditing, and analysis to ensure the organization’s systems and information assets are protected.

  • Interact with internal and external customers on security-related projects and operational tasks.

  • Function as a subject matter expert for security related policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in the assessment of information security risks of new projects and non-standard IT requests using risk assessment methodologies.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Company’s security policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Remain current and educated on new information security issues, technologies, and techniques.

  • Provide training and awareness on information security policies and procedures.

  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, excellent time-management skills

  • Strong analytical skills with practical and in depth knowledge of information security principles and practices

  • Ability to prepare regular written reports

  • Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information security measures

  • Ability to travel to other work locations up to 10% of the time

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, (http://www.newenglandcollegeonline.com/programs/bachelor-degrees/ba-business-admin/computer-science/) programming, engineering, or a related field

  • Five (5) years in general information technology or a minimum of 2 years of related experience in information security audits/compliance.

  • Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) preferred
