Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced consultant to join our Federal Consulting team, where you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, activating, and supporting the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across various Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs, and the Indian Health Service. The primary focus of this role will be within the patient access space, specifically deploying Federal Registration solutions that improve the registration process for service members, veterans, and Native American populations.
The Principal Consultant will work directly with client teams to design, build and ensure smooth integration and deployment of Oracle Health Millennium solutions that streamline patient access and ensure compliance with federal healthcare registration regulations. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the electronic health record (EHR) systems for active-duty service members, their families, veterans, and underserved populations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, activation, and support of Oracle Health Millennium solutions within patient access and Federal Registration contexts, specifically focusing on Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service, and United States Coast Guard.
Deploy Federal Registration solutions in line with government regulations (CMS, HIPAA, and other federal standards) to ensure seamless patient intake and registration processes.
Work closely with client stakeholders to understand patient access needs, translating those needs into effective technical solutions within Oracle Health Millennium.
Conduct system analyses, identifying areas for improvement and applying Oracle’s best practices and methodologies to deliver tailored, compliant solutions.
Develop and configure detailed solutions for complex projects, ensuring a balance between functionality, user experience, and regulatory compliance.
Support project management teams and act as a subject matter expert during the implementation process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, enhance performance, and ensure the successful delivery of projects on time.
Participate in business development activities, building relationships with key government stakeholders and clients.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and may act as a team lead on projects.
Qualifications:
At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
5+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Registration product(s). Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter, capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts.
Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.
Preferred: experience working with federal agencies such as Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, United States Coast Guard, or Indian Health Service.
Preferred strong understanding of federal healthcare regulations and their impact on patient registration systems.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Relevant product or technical expertise in the Oracle Health Millennium product suite.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with both technical teams and government client stakeholders.
Ability to independently analyze complex problems, apply solutions, and make decisions in line with Oracle’s methodology and industry best practices.
Ability to travel as needed to support federal client engagements and project implementations.
Expectations:
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Willing to travel up to 80% as needed; 50% most months, but some months will require more travel.
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
