Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement process improvements, drive cost and productivity enhancements, and lead various projects related to cost reduction, supply chain, and new processes. This role requires the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and involvement in guiding New Product Introduction efforts. The Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for fixture design using SolidWorks and training production personnel.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement process improvements.
Drive cost and productivity improvement initiatives.
Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools, including DMAIC and kaizen.
Lead projects related to cost reduction, supply chain optimization, and new processes.
Guide New Product Introduction efforts.
Design fixtures using SolidWorks.
Train production personnel on new processes and improvements.
Essential Skills
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Skills in continuous improvement and process optimization.
Ability to create and follow work instructions.
Experience with time studies and kaizen events.
Proficiency in SolidWorks for fixture design.
Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-4 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
1-2 years of experience with SolidWorks.
Utilization of statistics in analyzing process data.
Experience with ERP systems.
