The State of New Hampshire, Department of Business and Economic Affairs has a full-time vacancy for Information CenterAttendant I at the Salem Welcome Center.
Summary: SCOPE OF WORK: To represent the State of New Hampshire, Department of Resources and Economic Development, Division of Travel and Tourism Development (DTTD), professionally and in a manner in accordance with the mission and goals of the Department while maintaining and protecting facilities, providing information and assisting visitors and traveling public.
Responsibilities: ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs custodial duties and grounds upkeep at a Welcome and Information Center to ensure a safe and clean facility. Provides exceptional customer service and information on New Hampshire's businesses, attractions, activities, transportation, dining, lodging and natural resources to visitors and traveling public. Maintains monthly inventories of brochures and supplies, assists in tracking and reporting visitor volume and ensures maintenance needs are reported. Maintains current knowledge of traveler information throughout the State and attends customer service seminars and training as required.
