  About the Job

  Provides support functions for purchasing department by reviewing requisitions, orders, and invoices to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.

• Review all purchase requisitions for accuracy of terminology and specifications.

• Respond to requisitioner and supplier inquiries about order status.

• Allocate requisitions to Purchase Orders after approvals.

• Maintains all vendor files including adding or modifying vendor information and contract pricing in vendor item pack system.

• Maintains all Capital Project Files.

• Works with AP to track down invoicing discrepancies.

• Maintenance contractor purchase order updates for invoicing on progress payments.

  Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Five years of general clerical experience and three years in purchasing related functions.

• Purchase to pay process compliance and accounting reconciliation.

• Proficient in use of computers and highly accurate in data input.

• High detail orientation with ability to manage multiple priorities.
