Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrician for an end client located in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be responsible for supporting a project related to the development of multiples energy storage system prototypes. These battery boxes are large in size with high voltage capabilities. This person will be in charge of reading the blue prints and schematics in order to conduct the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of these prototypes. Electrical Technician will be the implementation of all electrical related components and materials into the mechanical design. The electrician will need to directly interpret information delivered by the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to successfully assemble the electrical systems to the correct design specifications.

Skills and Requirements

At least 5+ years of experience as an electrician or electrical technician

Experience installing electrical system components and cabling

Experience assembling and installing high and low voltage systems

Electrical experience working with crimping, wires, terminals, circuit breakers, inverters, transformers, power leads, etc. Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Journeyman Electrician License null
