Antea USA, Inc. (AnteaGroup) is a global provider of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) services and solutions across multiple industries. We are seeking an entry-level Sustainability Professional to join our growing Sustainability Water Stewardship team. As a Sustainability Professional within our Water Stewardship team, you will play a fundamental role in delivering our water-related solution offerings. You will own analytical and written tasks to support a variety of assignments including source water vulnerability assessments, water risk assessments, corporate report and disclosure preparation, data management, water compliance assessments, and facility optimization. Assignments may also include supporting other aspects of our Sustainability Practice offerings including greenhouse gas accounting, reporting and disclosure, and sustainability planning. Where will I work? This position can be remote, however if an Antea Group office is located within close proximity, a flexible work model will be expected. If there is a hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office periodically and/or as requested for in-person meetings, mentorship, and collaboration with other team members. The preferred candidate must be located in the continental US. The is a full-time position with travel up to an estimated 30% as necessary. Education and Training BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 0-3 Years of applicable environmental experience. Engineer-in-Training certification in any state and ability to obtain a Professional Engineering license in four years or less. Desired Experience Knowledge of water stewardship frameworks, such as the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) Standard or similar sustainability initiatives. Familiarity with water-related compliance regulations at local, state, national, and international levels. Experience in preparing documentation for regulatory filings, audits, and sustainability reporting. Experience in data collection, monitoring, and reporting on water usage, quality, and conservation metrics is a plus. Basic understanding of hydrology, water management systems, and wastewater treatment processes. Experience in conducting water risk assessments or site water compliance audits and identifying mitigation strategies. Experience supporting the implementation of water efficiency and conservation programs. Knowledge of basic to intermediate wastewater treatment technologies and strategies. Familiarity with wastewater permitting processes, including permits for NPDES or local POTW discharges. Working familiarity with State stormwater programs, including NOI filing for stormwater permits. Experience collecting on-site data to complete Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fundamental Skill Set Strong organizational skills/attention to detail. Effective communication and writing skills for preparing reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement materials. High energy and self-initiative Strong research and analytical skills to assess water policies, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental consultants and operations staff. Ability to effectively multi-task. Ability to work independently and produce results. Proactive thinking. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Potential employees must pass a company-paid physical exam, drug-screen and have a valid driver's license and possess a safe driving record. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
