Role Description
The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for supporting internal and external stakeholders such as Business Analysts, Program Leadership and clients with a variety of complex reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex streams of data, join and manipulate the data, and determining valuable insights. The candidate should enjoy working with others in a team environment but also self-motivated and able to operate autonomously when needed. The candidate should have a true passion for data and enjoy using data to tell a story.
Key Responsibilities:
Field requests from stakeholders, clarify requirements, and respond with data that meets the end-users need.
Build complex SQL queries to bring multiple data sources together.
Develop, operate, and maintain reports that will be compiled and delivered on a regular basis.
Continually developing business knowledge to become a subject matter expert.
Work with colleagues to iterate reporting deliverables into a more robust product.
Identifying anomalies and discrepancies in reports and the underlying data.
Quality assurance of existing reports.
Utilize Power BI or other BI Platform technologies to creatively display complex data in a manner that can be digested by a wide audience.
Attention to detail and accountability to meet critical deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. OR 4 years’ relevant experience in lieu of degree.
5 additional years of relevant experience
Experience analyzing data and presenting information to stakeholders.
Experience with programming or SQL or BI Platform.
Must be a US Citizen or Authorized to work in the US (if not a citizen) and a resident of the US for at least 3 years within the last 5 years.
Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with performing comprehensive data model analysis.
Experience with optimizing existing processes.
Experience with migrating large data sets into new platforms.
Compensation Ranges
Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
