Aerotek Qc Lab Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Position: Quality Control Lab Analyst

  • Duties/Responsibilitie s:

  • The responsibilities of this position include performing routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical products and related materials in accordance with site policies, departmental procedures, compendial methods, and cGMP regulations.

  • High productivity and the ability to multi-task coupled with a low error rate and attention to detail are critical characteristics of this position.

  • Perform bench work such as FTIR, HPLC, GC, dissolution and transdermal physical testing.

  • Must demonstrate flexibility/agility and engagement in a changing environment. The candidate is expected to display good laboratory technique meeting QbD standards and meet all regulatory requirements.

Shift: Days; no weekends.

Pay Range: $26-$40/HR (depends on experience)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant science field with minimum 1-3 years’ experience.

  • A minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory environment

  • Knowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC, (GC, FTIR and dissolution experience a plus).

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the FDA drug/pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge of analytical method development and validation • Experience using chromatographic software (Empower 3 – strongly preferred)

  • Knowledge with cGMP, cGLP, USP and the regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals

  • Experience in statistical data analysis and QbD principles

  • Must be able to think critically and troubleshoot typical analytical (HPLC) instrumentation problems.

Interview process:

  • 30-minute Teams interview with hiring manager

  • If the hiring manager likes them, then a 1.5-2-hour onsite interview will be scheduled with them and the team.

  • Holiday Pay:

  • 1-5 years = 80 hours 6-11 years = 120 hours 12-25 years = 160 hours 25+ = 200 hours

  • The company will provide educational assistance in the form of reimbursement to eligible employees up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year, for coursework at a degree or certificate granting institution at either high school, vocational, college or graduate level
