Job Title: Sr. Production Operations Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sr. Production Manager to lead their manufacturing department in West St. Paul, MN. This full-time, on-site role involves providing strategic direction, managing teams, ensuring quality and compliance, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight to production teams, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to industry standards.

• Supervise and develop three Manufacturing Supervisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

• Champion a culture of quality, safety, and compliance with cGMPs and GDPs.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Troubleshoot issues, lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Project Management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of leadership in a cGMP setting, or associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• 5+ years in operations/plant management.

• 2+ years in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems
