Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated material handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, preparing packages for shipment, coordinating with courier services for pickups and drop-offs, and building crates for shipping products. This role requires the use of hand and power tools, and candidates will divide their time between loading/unloading trucks and building pallets/crates to package various door frames.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trucks
Prepare packages for shipment
Coordinate with courier services for pickups and drop-offs
Build crates for shipping products using hand and power tools
Split time between loading/unloading trucks and building pallets/crates
Essential Skills
Proficiency with RF scanners
Picking and cycle counting
Computer skills
Forklift operation
Ability to perform heavy lifting
Experience in general production
Proficiency in unloading, loading, labeling, and pallet jack usage
Ability to read a tape measure
Good communication skills
Organizational skills
Mechanical inclination

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
