Job Title: Machine Assembler

Job Description

The Machine Assembler will be responsible for building custom machines by reading and interpreting assembly diagrams, positioning parts, and assembling machines to ensure they function correctly. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and an aptitude for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, bills of material, and parts lists.

• Assemble, install, and align components and sub-assemblies in the correct order.

• Fabricate parts, as needed, by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, and various measuring tools.

• Use hand tools, power tools, cranes, and specialized equipment to assemble machines.

• Resolve assembly problems by consulting engineering.

Essential Skills

• Experience using hand and power tools to assemble machinery.

• Experience using blueprints and schematics.

• Troubleshooting skills

• Welding experience

• Forklift experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree (nice to have)

• Forklift experience

Work Environment

Our facility is clean, well-lit, and organized, with approximately 25 employees between the shop and office. The shift hours are Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $54080.00
